Holiday Jazz Concert

The Naples High School Band Boosters are hosting “A Christmas Celebration” featuring  Steve DeLadurantey and  Naples Brass for a benefit concert Saturday December 1, 2018 at Naples High School Auditorium with the performance starting at 7:00 pm.
Tickets are free to the public with donations graciously accepted at the event.  RSVP by emailing

Each year Steve DeLadurantey puts together a brass group made up of several Naples Philharmonic musicians and a variety of other pro musicians from around town and do a series of Christmas Concerts.  These concerts range in length for 30 minutes to 75 minutes and receive standing ovations each time they do them without fail.  The concert ranges from “Christmas Classical to Christmas Fun” and has a healthy mixture of classic brass arrangements and Christmas themed music.  This year Steve has assembled his best group, including a world class lead trumpet player coming in to do the high work on the jazz and pop music.  (He was the lead trumpet player for the Jazz Ambassadors for 20 years)   The group is 4 trumpets, 3 bones, a tuba, vocalist, percussionist, and keyboard player.

The concert will benefit the Naples High School Band Program.  The proceeds will go to purchasing an electronic piece for music, a few more instruments to finish up what the boosters were unable afford last year due to the hurricane, and additional tuxes and gowns for student performances.
